Dear Staff :

We have hired you because you can meet some of our pressing needs. We will not spend energy and time if we find that you cannot meet our requirements. However, we are convinced that we need a person like you with such skills and experience, and that you are the best choice to help us achieve this goal. So, we gave you the job, and you take it. Thank you!

During your tenure, you will be asked to do many things: general duties, the special tasks, team and individual projects. You will have many opportunities to go beyond others and to show your excellence and to prove how wise the original decision we made to hire you is.

However, one of the most important responsibility you must always firmly keep in mind during your tenure, though perhaps your boss will never tell you, is the ultimate hope of the enterprise for you -- always do what is needed, do not wait for others to ask you to do it.

Yes, we recruited you to work, but more importantly, we hired you to think and act in the best interests of the company. If nobody mentioned this to you again, do not think that it is no more important or we have changed our views. We may be busy in dealing with the daily operations, face the changes within daily work and do not have time to repeat this to you. In the day-to-day practical work, perhaps you will feel this principle no longer applies. However, do not be deceived by the appearance. Do not forget the ultimate business expectations the enterprise has for you. During your work period, let it always be with you and become a guiding light for your positive work, let it spur your thinking and actions.

As long as you are our staff, you have our permission: to take positive action for the best interests of our common proactive action. At any time, if you feel that we are not doing right-- not to the interests of all of us -- please clearly say so. You have our permission: to express your opinion directly at time necessarily, to state your proposal, or to query an action or decision. This does not mean that we will agree with your views, or necessarily change our existing practices; however, we will be always happy to listen, to listen to your idea as to what would help us to achieve better results and goals, and in this process we will create a successful experience of helping ourselves by helping others. If you want to seek a change of existing procedures, you must first try to understand both how the workflow operation (and the reason of doing so). First try to work with the existing system, but if you think that these systems need changes, then do not hesitate to tell us.

P. S. Like many other good suggestions, the ultimate expectation is just a simple common sense. Once you understand the ultimate expectations, you must put it in the daily work practice. No other things is as important as taking this challenge to get success in your work, cause and life.
